The beginning of my studies here was a bit shaky. Later, I found out it is not that hard if I try to cope with it. I do have a great time studying here. I try to make use of this study period to learn more about my course and to apply it to the society here.
It's not hard to get admitted. With the right paperwork and application, you can easily get the process right. Just don't wait until the last minute to get things right. I got my application done by just a month and I have 6 months before commencing my master here.
It is actually way tougher to secure a scholarship for postgraduate studies. I have friends who work while they're taking Master. As I am already attached to a company back home, I am only doing part time here.
I did not face any major problems in regards with my studies. So far so good. As long as students are confident in their work, and proof read to minimize mistakes, it should be fine. Yeah, I do get the help needed.
Other than studying, I try to maximize my stay here with joining community service. I get to know many people here due to voluntary work. It is really fun. As I am a Christian, it becomes easier to relate to them.
Of course, there are certainly many jobs awaiting graduates from UC. A postgraduate degree will help students to aim and achieve higher.
